@Abby Lew Tong, for me the longer you cook the herbs the better it taste as the sweetness from the date will all come out in the soup as well as the other herbs as well. (goji berry will always add in last as it doesnt need to be cook long) @KP Kwan is pretty spot on with this recipe and easy to follow for new triers.

I think it should be OK if you put it at low. I use the slow cooker also but set it on high for three hours.
